Caitlin and Manda cordially manage the blog where Caitlin shares many creative and useful DIY projects focusing on natural affordable materials. The blog, established in 2013, is The Merrythought, a Western New York-based lifestyle site devoted to simple living. Caitlin also shares many recipes, fashion, home decor, travels, parties, and bits of her daily life.
Caitlin lives in the same small town she grew up in, where there's a bakery and a pizza shop within walking distance, and she's okay with that. She is a lifetime crafter who thinks that everyone can and should take the time to make things every now and then. Caitlin loves spending her days hiking, snacking, and just being with friends and family. Most importantly, she is thankful to live a life known and loved by her creator and hopes to live a life that will make him and his perfect love known.
On the other hand, Manda lives in the countryside with her husband, Mike, and their three boys, Lincoln, Malacai, and Levi. Manda's life is filled with lots of noise, laughter, cups of coffee, endless legos to step on, goldfish & root beer, and trying to catch up on that never-ending to-do list! She is saved by His grace and pursuing His love. Manda loves coffee, a lot. She loves to bake. She loves white and natural wood, especially together. She loves to laugh. She loves sleeping. She loves to play with her food, mostly while taking photos of it. Manda loves camping and road trips with her love. She loves reading. She loves spending time with her family. She loves Mexican food. And pizza. And donuts. Always donuts. Manda is very indecisive. She has surprisingly developed a love for running.
