Marina is a Russian American from Kazakhstan, currently living in Germany. She grew up and went to school in Minnesota, United States. She believes that food should taste good without spending hours in the kitchen. Marina prefers easy recipes that don't require much time to put together, but she's not afraid to tackle more complex dishes.

She worked as a financial analyst for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom, relishing this season of her life. Marina's journey with cooking began as a teenager, often helping her mom in the kitchen. Once she moved abroad, she embraced cooking herself, continually expanding her culinary skills to create meals that her family enjoys.

One of her memorable culinary experiences was trying Koshari for the first time while visiting the pyramids of Giza. This dish, comprising rice, lentils, noodles, and chickpeas, served with a flavorful tomato sauce and roasted onions, became a family favorite. Inspired by her travels, Marina is always eager to try new foods and recreate them at home.

Furthermore, Marina also values natural ingredients, avoiding processed foods whenever possible. Marina enjoys gardening and incorporates homegrown fruits and vegetables into her meals whenever feasible.
