Clicks Technology recently announced an Android based smartphone with a physical keyboard that is being called as the Communicator at the CES 2026. Clicks is a U.K. based gadget company that came to prominence after designing physical keyboard case for some specifics model of iPhones and Android Phones. The company also designed magnetic keyboard accessory that allows wireless charging while it can also act as a small battery bank and it was also introduced at the CES along with the Communicator.

While there isn't any working prototype of the Communicator available as of today, the device is already up for early reservation from the website for $199. However, you can also pay the full price along with reservation for $399 and additional $30 for shipping. A bit surprisingly, the company did not mention any specific date, it is being expected to be delivered later this year.
As far as the hardware is concerned, this device will be shipped with a 4000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, a 4.03 inch AMOLED display, 50MP OIS rear and 24MP front camera. There will be 256GB of on-board storage along with a MicroSD card slot that will support up to 2TB of expandable storage. For connectivity, you will get Bluetooth, NFC and WiFi feature along with 3.5mm audio jack. This phone will support both the NanoSIM and eSIM if your desire. For charging it will feature USB-C port and Qi2 wireless charging.
The device weight is 170 grams. It is 130.5mm in length, 78.63mm in width and at only 12mm in thickness, this will be much shorter than most of the modern smartphones available in the market. And yes, this device will come with Andorid 16 pre-installed on it. It is not quite clear whether the device will available through any specific carrier or not but purely based on the information provide don their website, It will not be carrier locked
