The author has started this blog as a fun place for her to refer to her family recipes and other fun things she does as the seasons pass. The food she makes is influenced by her love for trying different food from many parts of the world. She has adapted the recipes to fit Islamic dietary restrictions. She is a self-taught cook, with most recipes from family and some from the internet, articles, and cooking shows.
