Eva warmly welcomes her visitors to her blog. She's an accomplished flutist. Eva began playing the flute in the 4th grade and continued her musical journey all the way through college. In fact, she minored in flute performance. Her college flute professor had the privilege of learning from Sir James Galway, which means Eva is proud to be a part of Sir James' flute family tree. Although she once dreamed of playing in the pit orchestra for a Broadway musical, reality took her down a different path.
Eva is really into figure skating. However, she took a break from skating during high school and college. Her return to the sport as an adult student came after she graduated from college. Eva didn't start taking skating seriously until she was around 26 or 27 years old. A visitor can often find her at the rink, where she practices or teaches Learn-to-Skate. She has achieved significant milestones in her skating journey, passing tests like Adult Novice Moves in the Field, Adult Gold Freestyle, and Adult Silver Pairs. Her first experience competing at a significant event was at Adult Nationals in 2014, although it wasn't until 2022 that she earned her first national medal.
Baking is another one of Eva's passions. Her love for baking began when she was a young girl who yearned for an Easy Bake Oven but never received one. It seems she's making up for it now! At first, Eva created this blog to keep a record of recipes she could share with her daughter. Over time, though, it has grown into a wellspring of inspiration, driving her to explore and experiment with new recipes.
Eva is immensely thankful to her husband, who graciously and willingly looks after their lovely daughter while she delves into her culinary experiments. Without his support, this blog wouldn't be possible.
Eva's aspirations don't include becoming a professional chef, baker, or photographer. Her simple hope is that her readers will enjoy some of her cherished recipes and perhaps find inspiration in their own kitchen.
