Raquel lives in an equestrian neighborhood in Los Angeles with her husband Adam, a Paint mare named Fira, Mango the Pomeranian, and six Silkie chickens. She manages the blog cordially. When she’s not riding through the hills, she shares barn tours on Stable Style or prepares candles.
With an eye for design and a passion for candles, Raquel launched the Stable Style home collection in 2020. The collection includes luxurious candles with beautiful ombre-painted jars, wooden wicks, thoughtful packaging, and scrumptious scents. Named after the barn but meant to be enjoyed at home, these candles make perfect gifts for equestrians. Raquel also enjoys freelancing for a handful of popular equine magazines, including Chrome, Paint Horse Journal, and Horse Illustrated.
