Lisa's Reading

The establishment of this blog arose from a genuine aspiration to share outstanding literary works. Its core objective is to provide readers with sincere and insightful reviews of books that hold immense value for their families, amidst the cacophony of the book-world.

Lisa's upbringing in the South instilled in her a profound regard for etiquette, while her adulthood was predominantly spent in Virginia, where she forged a deep connection with her life partner and raised three children, albeit not without experiencing the heartache of three miscarriages. Throughout her journey, Lisa developed a fondness for diverse architectural styles and decor, having resided in numerous homes.

With a solid educational foundation in music education and general education, Lisa pursued a Master's degree in Education during her forties, unraveling a newfound passion for research. This passion proved invaluable in her two-decade-long commitment to homeschooling her children, a deeply rewarding yet challenging experience that witnessed the remarkable growth and development of her offspring.

Today, two of Lisa's children have embarked on their marital journeys, while her third child immerses themselves in the pursuit of a doctorate in mathematics. As a grandmother, the presence of her beloved grandson fills Lisa's heart with boundless joy.

Lisa embraces the everyday voyage of life, finding solace and contentment in appreciating the beauty of simplicity. Within the realm of her writing, she endeavors to share the delight of exploring captivating literary treasures with her cherished readers, perpetually seeking enlightenment and growth with each passing day.
