The Neverending TBR

Jaymie, a self-proclaimed book enthusiast who harbors an insatiable love for all things literary. From a tender age, Jaymie's devotion to books was ignited when she embarked on a self-taught journey of reading "Bears in the Night" by Stan Berenstain. This initial encounter with the written word served as a catalyst, propelling her into a world of captivating tales. These tales range from the enthralling Bobbsey Twins mysteries to Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden's intrepid adventures. In those early years, the library became Jaymie's sanctuary, a haven where she could immerse herself in the written wonders she held dear.

While high school and college demanded her attention elsewhere, limiting her leisurely reading, Jaymie's thirst for books remained unquenched. It was after graduate school that she finally indulged in a personal literary journey, discovering the enchanting realm of cozy mysteries. These unique mysteries, often featuring amateur sleuths and steering clear of excessive violence or gore, captivated her with their focus on unraveling intricate puzzles rather than instilling intense suspense. Jaymie couldn't get enough of these cozy mysteries then, and her love for them continues to endure.

As Jaymie's life evolved with the addition of a son and two nieces, her reading repertoire expanded to include children's literature. A deep affection blossomed within her for these books, prompting a friend to aptly point out that middle-grade novels were her "sweet spot." Jaymie's affinity extended beyond this age group, encompassing younger children and older teens as well.

With her current circumstances not involving teaching, Jaymie yearned for an outlet to channel her book obsession. Thus, she reignited her blogging journey, under the name The Neverending TBR, to connect with a community of fellow readers. Through her blog, Jaymie aims to bridge the gap between readers and their next captivating read. This ensures that no one is left pondering what book to explore next. By sharing her insights and engaging with like-minded individuals, she seeks to foster a sense of connection and shared enthusiasm for the written word.
