Assassination attempt on President Trump

Like many Americans, I just learned that there was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, a former U.S. President and potential republican presidential candidate for 2024 election. To be honest, it took me little while to grasp the entire story. I read number of news articles online before I decided to write few words on this heinous incident.

I condemn such cowardly act in strongest terms. I hope and pray for speedy recovery of President Trump. At this critical time of history we must stand united against such threat towards our democracy regardless of our political views.

Ideological differences between humans are nothing new. However, such differences can sometimes lead us to dangerous path which some of us are not fully aware of, sometimes. Hatred towards someone with different ideologies grows slowly and it eventually spirals out of control. As a student of history, I learned that truth long ago. This is exactly where one must learn to be patient and kind towards others.

The list of assassinated American politicians are not small. In fact, in Wikipedia there is an article on this topic, feel free to check it out whenever you got time. I am quite sure the list of assassination attempt on American politicians (if there's any) would be much much larger than that, sadly. We as a nation must recognize this reality and must act as a civilized nation because we all know hatred only brings destruction but never brings any solution. Violence is not and must not be the way to reach any peaceful conclusion.
