Just like any other day, I woke up this morning with an intent to work on some of the things that I do on daily basis. We had office meeting and afterwards I stepped out to get my coffee as I normally do. Meanwhile, a colleague of mine who lives in another state left a group message stating that she will leave her desk for sometime to go out to vote. I totally forgot that it's election day over here in New York City as well. So, I thanked her for such coincidental reminder.
Couple of hours later, I stepped out once again to complete my civic duty. The polling site is pretty close, so I decided to take my GoPro with me. Wasn't expecting anything special rather I took the camera with me just to record something for my YouTube channel. More like documenting my life. I couldn't stay outside for long as I had to come back and report it back to my office. Wasn't something super important but I tend to notify my office if I am not on my desk for some reason. Common official courtesy I think.
