Today I went out to take a walk in Manhattan once again. I left home and took the R train to get off at the East 23rd Street subway station. During my school years, it was my daily commute and I know this area pretty well. So I walked and explored the park and then headed towards the Lexington Avenue and 23rd Street. The goal was to walk past my College and then go towards the 34th Street.
At the corner of 28th and Lexington Avenue, there used to be an Indian Restaurant (Curry In a Hurry) which is quite popular in that area. During my school years, I used to go there quite often to enjoy Samosa (Bengali Shingara). It's been long since I last visit that restaurant. Here is the video.
Then I thought of heading towards the 34th and Park Avenue. Meanwhile, I took a little break to cool down my camera and then started recording again. I walked towards the 6th Avenue with an intention to focus on the Empire State building.
By the time I was at the corner of 6th Avenue and 34th Street, I started to feel hungry. So, I thought of grabbing some food and then eventually head back to home. In search of a decent restaurant, I ended up walking towards the 42nd street on 5th Avenue. From there, I grabbed some food and sat by the New York Public library to finish my meal. Can't really complain as I enjoyed my walk today. Stay safe everyone.
