It is almost five in the morning over here in New York and I just finished watching this movie few minutes back. Few hours back I was scrolling through some video on YouTube and came across a short video which seemed like a trailer of this movie or it just could be a short video made with various scene from the movie. In any case, after watching that short video, I was quite intrigued and really wanted to watch it before I go to bed.

I think it is more of a thriller film than anything else. Even though I am not a big fan of this genre, I don't mind making some exception every now an then. However, I must credit that particular shorts video that pushed me to watch it at certain extend. I am not all too familiar with the stars of this movie. Well, turns out this a Canadian movie and none of the actor or actress seemed familiar face to me. May be I just should start watching Canadian movies.

Plot: The movie revolves around the two main character, Liam Hartwell (Diego Klattenhoff) and Jane (Charlotte Sullivan). The story begins with a man who just survived a car crash and seeking help. As a passing by car attempts to slow down to potentially help him, it skids off from the road. When Liam gets close to the car, he finds out the lady who was driving the car just passed away. He tries to get help from emergency service but he could not remember his own name when asked. Birds, humans start dying around him but he cannot make any sense out of it.

Initially Liam thought it could be some sort of virus that is causing all the deaths around him. He finds his own driver’s license and eventually reaches his own home. As he starts sealing the windows he sees a farmer few yards away from his home. Liam tried to warn him to leave the area but as the farmer approaches Liam, he drops dead as well.

Liam sees a crow outside of his house and he slowly approaches the crow. After moving towards the crow, it drops dead too. He then takes the measurement of the distance between him and the crow. He listens from media about the potential virus to get information but nothing seems to align with his understanding.

He falls asleep and wakes up from a bad dream. A lady approaches to his home who wants to talk to him but Liam warns her to leave. She does not leave and remains persistent. Seems like the lady can remember that she was with Liam when they had the accident but she can not remember anything apart form that either. She found Liam through police stating that the car war registered to Liam.

The story continues to evolve and we learn from the conversation that everyone was calling her as Jane Doe but she could neither confirm nor remember her name. Both Liam and Jane eventually realize that no one dies when they both are together or in close proximity. However, when they move apart few feet living animal or human around Liam starts dying. Jane initially freaks out but eventually understands that Liam has nothing to do with that. She continues to remember her true identity.

They visit the hospital to find an answer and doctor tells him that Liam is healthy. However, they had to flee from the hospital as police shows up to arrest them. They were afraid that if police separate them everyone at the hospital will die as well. Jane eventually learns from the news that her real name is Rose Daerwood and she was reported as missing by her husband Sam. Rose tries to convince Liam to seek help from Sam and he assures them to help. In the process Rose learns that she was disappeared while searching for her twin sister Lily. Both Liam and Rose explain everything to Sam and demonstrates how birds dies if they move apart.

As the story continues unfold, Rose and Liam learn that they were struck by a lightning where the accident took place at the very beginning of the story. Rose goes over the diary of Liam at his residence and learns that Liam is actually a serial killer who killed her sister and tried to kill her as well. Meanwhile some unknown people find them as they were following Rose and Liam. They try to kill Liam but ends up shooting Rose. Liam takes Rose to the hospital but to save the people of the hospital Liam kills himself as Rose was being taken away from him.
