Stripey Green TV

Rob embarked on a golfing journey as an amateur player with a high handicap (24) during the 2020 season. He met up with friends for a round of golf once or twice a week, initially finding pleasure in the game. However, upon reflection at the end of the year, Rob realized that despite enjoying the social aspect and laughter, the lack of improvement and direction had reduced his enjoyment and personal fulfillment.

Determined to improve, Rob set a goal to become a single-digit golfer. To monitor his progress, he created Stripy Green TV (SGTV), initially meant to keep friends and family updated but later evolved into a passion project for sharing golf experiences through writing and video content on social medias.

To Rob's surprise, others engaged with his updates and videos, appreciating his relatable content and discovering inspiration from his journey. This led him to realize that there were numerous other amateur golfers globally striving towards similar objectives and searching for helpful advice on how to enhance their game.

With this understanding, SGTV took shape. Initially, it was a tool for Rob to document his own golfing improvements; however, it soon evolved into a platform where he could share his views and opinions on the sport he loved while connecting with like-minded individuals who sought guidance and companionship throughout their journeys of growth and enjoyment. By providing insightful and entertaining content, Rob aspires to foster camaraderie among fellow golf enthusiasts and offer encouragement to those working toward similar goals.
