Julianne has been a dedicated home chef for over 20 years and a vegan recipe developer since 2020. She loves creating simple and comforting vegan food for the whole family. Most of her recipes are quick, Whole-Foods Plant-Based, and easy on the budget. Whether her readers have been following a plant-based lifestyle for years or they’re just hoping to reduce their meat and dairy intake, all are accepted here.

In addition, Julianne is particularly fond of meals that seem comforting and indulgent but are secretly healthy. So, most of her recipes are low-oil or oil-free, refined-sugar-free, and salt-optional. Simple, easy, healthy, affordable, & delicious. Those are the five main criteria she uses when she's developing new recipes.

In December 2019, Julianne also decided to incorporate more whole-food plant-based meals into her diet. WFPB recipes center on fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, herbs, and spices, while limiting highly processed ingredients like white flour, refined sugars, and oil. Of course, there are days when she's not perfect, but perfectionism isn't her goal. Her focus is on eating the healthiest foods she can most of the time. In doing this, she now feels healthier and fitter than she has in years. Plus, the food she eats is so delicious and filling, that her readers no longer crave junk food. She decided to start up this food blog to share her favorite recipes and offer advice to help her readers incorporate more vegan, WFPB meals into their lives.
