Janice lives on a farm and she loves to cook and bake. She is a wife, a mother, and now a grandmother. Until recently she worked full-time in a demanding job whilst helping out on the farm on the weekends. It’s been her passion since she was a child with my interest developing through travels in Europe, the USA, and Asia in my teens and twenties.
Her aim is to be the friend of her blog visitors in the kitchen, providing simple and delicious recipes, friendly advice, inspiration, and honest reviews. She loves to cook and bake seasonal Scottish recipes with the occasional detour into other recipes.
Janice started Farmersgirl Kitchen to share her simple recipes, some are passed down through her family, and others are new but all are adapted to be easy to make, family-friendly, hearty, and filling. She also shares some of her planning and organizing tips and tricks as she goes.
