Camilla is a wife and a mum to two children who were fed up with recipes that either didn’t work or that her family didn’t like. So, armed with her school/college knowledge of Home Economics, she thought she would share recipes that she’s developed, adapted, or been given over the years and that her family loves. There’s nothing worse than slaving over a hot stove to have one or more noses turn up at your dish.

Hence, she aims to take the guesswork out of recipe choosing by featuring easy-to-follow recipes that everyone loves. Her main culinary influence was her Danish mother who brought her up to love all things Danish but also embraced the likes of The Cordon Bleu Cookery Series, Marguerite Patten, and Delia Smith. Dinner parties just seemed to fall seamlessly from her fingers, and she would look and learn.

The other huge influence on her love of food and nutrition was her school teacher, Mrs. Stevens; she could bake and cook everything to perfection, and spurred her on to win the school prize for Home Economics.
