The Snowboard Mom is a Canadian Ski and Snowboard blog founded by Valerie in 2019. Her motto is to help the visitors to make the most of their time on the slopes. Valerie lives in Montreal, Quebec with her husband and her two kids. Her husband is also an avid snowboarder. Both she and her husband had visions of family ski vacations since they found out they were expecting their first child over 7 years ago.
In 2015, the blog originally focused on travel and family. Fast forward to 2018 when her kids started skiing, the conversation was mostly focused on skiing and snowboarding with the kids. Valerie relaunched her blog in 2019 as The Snowboard Mom.
