James has been an avid disc golf player ever since he was introduced to the sport by his brother in 2008. He fell in love with the sport because of the laid-back and casual attitude, the ability to enjoy the great outdoors, and the technique needed to master the sport.
James is a right-handed player. When he played for the first time, he only threw forehanded. But after playing more and more he found that he could get more distance and consistency out of his backhand.
As mentioned earlier, James started playing disc golf around 2008, and although it started as a minor hobby, he soon became addicted and couldn’t play enough! After finding a good group of friends who enjoyed playing as well, he soon found himself playing at least 3 or 4 times a week.
After reflecting on his disc golf career, James began to think about just how much disc golf has given him. He has gained numerous lifelong friends playing disc golf, he met his wife playing disc golf, he was able to travel the country playing disc golf, and he knew that this sport could do so much more to influence lives.
The main objective of the blog is to provide information about the annual disc golf charity event. That being said, because he has this platform, he also wanted to create a disc golf blog that he would have appreciated when he was a beginner, and also as a veteran.
In this blog, he will be doing countless product reviews which will help give his readers an unbiased opinion on which disc golf products are beneficial, and which aren’t worth the money. Along with this, a big focus will be on picking the best discs for their play style and their experience.
Furthermore, James will also be creating blog posts, and tutorial videos on various throwing techniques and tips and tricks to improve his followers' game. Along with this, he’d love to hear from these guys on anything they need help with or any products they want reviewed.
