David is an avid golfer. In addition to being a husband, father, friend, son, brother, and dog lover living in Lexington, Kentucky. He started this blog to chronicle his adventures in golf as he navigates the journeys of life with friends, family, and loved ones, and the occasional double bogey.
He has a multitude of varied interests, but golf is his passion. He loves to play and compete. He enjoys the exercise and the challenge. He savors the camaraderie and the peace he often finds on the golf course.
He likes to think about golf. About the mechanics of his swing. About the amazing spaces in which golf is played around the world. About the health and future of the business of golf. And many more topics. His inspiration to chronicle his golfing adventures in a blog was two-fold. First, he has lofty and realistic goals for himself regarding the golf courses he wants to play in the coming golf seasons.
He created this blog, which will essentially be his online golf journal. Along the way, he hopes it’s a vehicle to expose people to courses they may not be familiar with and a place to swap memories and stories of those who went before him. The blog is still a top-notch resource for information on Kentucky’s golf courses and happenings, and I encourage you to check out the site, especially the golf course Forum. But he always looked forward to its witty commentary and editorials, and I hope to incorporate a little bit of its spirit into this blog.
