My Quiet Kitchen

Lori welcomes her readers to her blog. She is a certified yoga instructor, self-taught food blogger and photographer, and holds a certificate in plant-based nutrition. One of her favorite aspects of recipe creation is thinking outside of the box and solving problems. She finds inspiration in putting a twist on the expected. She does this to hopefully add something new that will make vegan cooking easier, better, and more accessible for us all.

In addition, Lori has a passion for creating and sharing food items and recipes on her blog. Therefore, she creates and shares recipes that make being vegan fun and easy. Her husband and she went vegan in 2011 while living in a small town in Wisconsin. She relied heavily on books from the library and the budding vegan food blog scene to learn all about their new lifestyle and way of eating.

Since those food blogs were so helpful to her at that time, she daydreamed about possibly starting her own one day. Finally, in late 2018, she launched this blog. Readers are cordially invited to find all of her full written recipes plus easy, step-by-step photos on the blog.
