Marie is the recipe developer, cook, photographer, and author behind Sugar Salt Magic. She loves her husband and family, her fur babies, and creating delicious things. While she doesn't doubt her love of cooking and baking comes largely from the eating, what really means the most to her is seeing the joy it brings to those she's making it for, and the memories it both supplies and evokes. If she thinks right back, the passion that she has for food now actually comes from her mum.
For her, this blog is a place to share that joy, the building of memories around the table and in the kitchen, and the love of great flavor. She's had grandparents tell her about the time they spent with their grandchildren baking one of her recipes. And home cooks tell her about how their dinner party went off with a bang using her recipes. Hearing these stories absolutely makes her day.
