Becky is the girl in the photo and the writer and creator of the content on this blog, known as The Fig Jar. This blog serves as a platform where she shares her love of food with the world. On this site, visitors will find recipes for all kinds of things: breakfast, lunch/dinner, snacks, drinks, and dessert. She has considered focusing on just one area and "defining her niche," as they say, but she likes all aspects of food too much to make that decision.

Becky has always had a deep love for cooking. When she was a child, watching cooking shows was a favorite family activity. She has always been fascinated by observing people cook. She hoped that one day, all of her ingredients would be chopped and waiting in little glass dishes as she worked. She did try this approach once, but she quickly realized that this romantic method led to a heck of a lot more dishes to wash.

Her passion for food is genuine. Becky loves reading about it, looking at photos of it, making it, and, of course, eating it. And she has been engaging in these activities for a very long time.
