Carissa is the face behind Domestic Dreamboat. She loves to cook, she loves to eat, and she loves to stay healthy. She's a stay-at-home Canadian mom of a young daughter and son. Shortly after their move to Wisconsin, she found that she was a stay-at-home mom who no longer had an outlet to share her passion for food. So she decided to start this blog. After that, she was on her own, learning everything from online tutorials and videos. She's quite proud of how far she's come.
She also knew almost nothing about photography when she started. She actually thought having great photos wasn't important as long as she posted great recipes. She very quickly learned that she was very, very wrong and began honing her photography skills. When she's not in the kitchen, she loves to read, sing, and work in her yard/garden. She loves camping and hiking and is so glad to be within a half a day's drive of the mountains again.
