Liz and Paul are a couple who manage the blog. Paul is a freelance photographer/marketer/nerd and Liz is a recipe developer/writer/dork. She also works a full-time job at a house of worship. Both of them develop plant-based comfort food recipes that are delicious, easy, and budget-friendly. They have created this blog to share their fun, delicious food with the world.
When it comes to the blog, Paul is the brains behind everything you see and Liz is behind everything you eat. Paul does all the photography, videography, editing, technical blog stuff, and marketing. He also keeps the house running and does all the dishes which is amazing. On the other hand, Liz cooks constantly and develops recipes, writes posts, writes emails, does cooking demos, and does a lot of trying to track down new things for us to learn whether it’s watching webinars, listening to podcasts on her way to and from work, or networking with other bloggers.
Paul and Liz started this food blog to share their vegan recipes. We went vegan together in early 2018 after watching the documentary Forks Over Knives. We went vegan for the animals, for our health, and for the environment, and will always be vegan. Liz even went ahead and got a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell which helped her understand how to eat a healthy, nutritious, satisfying plant-based diet backed by science and research. The recipes on this blog show that one shouldn’t have to give up the taste they love to support the animals they love, their bodies, and their planet.
