Victoria is a self-published author, blogger, and equestrian from rural Lincolnshire, UK, has documented her journey in three published memoirs since 2017. These memoirs detail her progression from limited confidence to actively competing with her beloved horses. Despite the perception that horse ownership implies financial comfort, she passionately maintains her two horses on a tight budget, showcasing the real-life challenges of funding her equestrian passion.

Starting her equestrian journey at the age of 7, Victoria's addiction to horses grew as she helped with hunting horses at a local yard and later worked as a cover groom for a private hunt yard at 12. Guided by knowledgeable horse people, she gained expertise in various aspects of horse care and management. Victoria obtained Pony Club tests, taught for years, and ran yards specializing in Polo and Dressage.

Reflecting on her past confidence and ambitions, Victoria shares the shift in her mindset over the last decade. From once aiming for prestigious events like Badminton, she now grapples with anxiety and hesitates to register for events. Despite her previous experiences with challenging horses, she faces the ongoing struggle to rebuild her confidence.

Victoria candidly invites readers to join her on this journey of rebuilding dignity and self-confidence. Through her blog, she shares the highs and lows of navigating the challenges of equestrian life while striving to keep her confidence intact.
