Kikkan is the author of the site. She is one of the lucky few athletes who can say they made their Olympic debut in their birthplace when she got her start at the Salt Lake City Games in 2002. Her Olympic dreams were shaped early by being the niece of two Olympic cross-country skiers.
She is the first American, male or female, to win a FIS World Cup title in Alpine skiing. Ironically, in December 2007, She joined Kiki in the history books by becoming the first American woman to win a FIS cross-country World Cup competition.
